Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television parts. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. She also guest-starred on the show. played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s when she landed a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's life.
