Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1996 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. The singer has recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not as an income or as a pastime and as a way to develop. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite composers. She decided to start performing her music in public when her mother said they could help people not to gain fame with her music, but rather to help those around them see their own importance and how they could impact the world. When she was six she started playing the piano. At age nine, she began writing her own songs. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. It was never a dream to be Aurora. Her sole passion is writing music. Music is her favorite way to feel anything.
